Project 4 Plan

Who-

This project is a self portrait, so my subject will be myself. The other subject of the photo, the song, is by one of my all time favorite bands, and partly the reason I started playing music, Sound Tribe Sector 9.

What-

The props that I am going to use for this shoot will be my drum kit and possibly my hand drums as well. The Song that I have chose to represent me is "Music, Us" by STS9.

Where-

For this shoot I am going to pack up my drums and head out to the Maumee river. Either Otsego Park, Wier Rapids, or the old bridge in Waterville. I am constantly being inspired by nature and the wonders that surround us each day. That inspiration is what keeps me going in life and musically. The river will give a great nature back ground for this shot of me in my drumming and creative element.

When-

I want this shot to be very bright and happy feeling so I am going to do this shoot in the afternoon hours on a sunny day sometime between Oct. 1st and 8th.

Why-

I chose to use this song and my drum kit because music has changed my life over the past 7 years. From seeing my first shows back in early high school to actually teaching myself to play the drums and starting a band with my best friends in college. I am really happy with the person that I am becoming and music is playing a huge part in that. Having me sitting at my drums playing out in nature in front of the river should communicate my two passions in life.
